Radiator Support 1971-1973 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from use this product to replace your original! Feels thinner than original, but source says correct gauge. As with all sheet metal, you have to work this baby in, and make adjustments, such as front bumper mounting holes. Dry fit everything before tack welding. Use lower rad support brackets, for example.

The new support feels like a thinner gauge. Can you confirm it is the proper thickness? It seems too light to weld.

Asked by: joey71
It is the proper thickness, we never had any problems welding them on the proper setting.
