Radiator Support With Crossmember Attached 1967-1968

Product Description

Radiator Support with Attached Crossmember for 1967-1968 Mustangs.

Whether doing a full car restoration on y our 1967-1968 Mustang or just upgrading your radiator and cooling system, CJ's offers this replacement radiator support with attached crossmember to make things easier!

This radiator support panel is a high-quality stamped steel panel that has been painted black for corrosion protection and gets welded into place. This OEM-style, direct-fit replacement support panel comes with the lower crossmember already welded to it for easier installation.

The radiator support panel is the panel the radiator gets bolted onto. It also is what the driver and passenger side inner fenders get mounted to, and it provides crucial mounting support for many other pony pieces like your horn and hood latch. The crossmember connects the front frame rails under the radiator support panel to each other and is already installed, so there's less welding for you to do during the project.

*Available as a radiator support only, without the attached crossmember (RADS2).

Radiator Support With Crossmember Attached 1967-1968 is rated 4.333333333333333 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A "Must Get" If You're Restoring The Front End! My girlfriend bought me this product for Christmas of 2014. I was definitely appreciative but I didn't need the crossmember because my originally one is still in good condition. However, when I received this product and removed it from the box, I instantly decided that I was going to replace my originally crossmember. The quality of this new one amazed me and made me bite my tongue for giving my girlfriend grief about getting the crossmember. The thickness of the metal was to my delight, and this new crossmember was a perfect fit between my two frame rails. It's an easy install, even for a beginner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit Ordered in support and cross member. Very pleased with product, after fitting in place, measurements came out the same as OEM panel that was removed. Spot welded in and continuing build. Will shop again!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good part - nice quality...but Good quality steel and main stamping looks to be good and accurate to original. I was very happy till I realized that the hood landing brackets were welded on crooked. The left one is approximately 1/4in off horizontal and will likely need to be cut off and reattached. I expect this is a one-off error and would buy again but couldn't give more than three stars at this time.

What thickness is the steel on radiator support area.

Asked by: Tech

Hi, Was wondering if the RADS12 is the same 18 gauge thickness as the RADS2 which according to one reviewer the factory gauge radiator support is 20 gauge. Thanks
