Product Description

Help bring your 1965-1970 Mustang with an 8" rear axle up to current suspension technology with this rear coil over conversion kit.

This kit allows you to replace your "tired" leaf springs with a 100% bolt in adjustable ride height coil over suspension

NO WELDING HERE! Use the "slide adjust" mounting bracket system to bolt the threaded aluminum aldan eagle coilover shocks/springs and lower 2 links to your existing 8" housing.

Body roll and front to rear roll couple is controlled by the bolt-in 3/4" black powercoated sway bar and end link package. AGAIN, NO WELDING!
1" O.D. x .120 wall round steel tubing with 5/8" rod ends make up the upper 2 triangulated links and bolt to your housing using the center section bracket. Upper link bar bolts between the fram fails for a 100% NO WELD anywhere installation.

Upper 2 links are adjustable for fine tuning on pinion angle if necessary.
Comes with all grade 8 hardware and instructions. Spanner wrench included.

Oversize shipping charges apply.

Rear Coil Over Conversion Kit 8" 1965-1970 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality easy installation Recently installed a 1968 coupe, instructions where straightforward and took me a weekend to install, I opted to weld on the ears to my transmission for the two links so that took more time than most, shocks are easily adjustable too with supplied wrench. Two notes before you buy, this kit will not work with a stock exhaust pipe that comes out the rear, the coilovers sit right where it bends over the axle. Second kit needs to be powder coated or painted before installation to prevent rust. Over all definitely worth every penny just beware of the changes you'll have to make before you buy it

Is there any difference on a rear coil over conversion kit for a 8" rear end and a 9" rear end?

Asked by: Beef
Yes, the fitments will be different. Use CJ part # RCCK1 for your 9-inch rear end.
