One of the best ways to get a more modern feel out of your 1965-1970 Mustang is install coil overs. This rear coil over conversion kit from Rod & Custom is designed to work on all 1965-1970 Mustangs with a 9" rear end. Rod & Custom makes this rear coil over conversion kit (RCCK1) easy to install by using bolts to install the whole kit. The coil over system gives you a wide range of adjustments providing the best ride for different driving styles.
The rear coil over kit is fully tig welded for maximum strength. Rod & Customs rear suspension comes in its natural steel finish that can be painted or powder coated by the customer. Rod & Custom includes a 3/4" rear sway bar which helps prevent excessive body roll. The upper control arms are adjustable for fine tuning the pinion angle if necessary.

*Due to the lay out of the rear coil overs you may have to modify the exhaust to make it fit over the rear axle

The rear coil overs feature a true billet aluminum body that has a wide range of adjustments. Rod & Custom uses spherical rod ends that make up the upper two triangulated links and bolts to your housing using the center section bracket. This rear suspension system (RCCK1) is manufactured using U.S.A. D.O.M. 1" O.D. x .120 wall round steel tubing, this kit also includes American made 5/8" chrome moly rod ends and bolts together with Grade 8 bolts.

Hi, I am thinking about this kit for a 1969 Mustang convertible. my question is this: Would the exhaust system still work as stock/factory with the pipes coming out of the rear valence, or would it have to be modified to come out at the sides of the car
