If you like to drive your Mustang fast, hard and loud, you may have noticed the stock control arms just can't cut it. The factory stamped steel control arms are just fine for the everyday casual driver, but the spirited driver needs something a bit more durable. This set of Red Upper and Lower Rear Tubular Control Arms for all 1979-1998 Mustangs are just what you need!
These replacement tubular control arms will fit directly in place and swap out the old factory stamped steel control arms in all 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 Mustangs. This control arms in this kit are constructed from brawny, reliable tubular steel. Thick and stout, these arms provide the support and firmness in the suspension you want, while the bright, bold red paint adds a touch of flair and style to this upgrade.
This kit includes mounting hardware as well as new, upgraded polyurethane bushings that provide stiff, rigid support for a dramatically increased overall performance. These hard bushings and strong control arms will help reduce the wheel hop resulting from weaker arms bending. The reinforcement and augmented strength added by this kit will improve your Mustang's launches and heighten the control and precision of handling and maneuvering.
Don't be content to settle with the stock control arms that tend to deflect, flex and bow during feisty, vigorous driving. CJ Pony Parts has hundreds of suspension parts for your Mustang so you can make the necessary upgrades to feel confident, safe and smart, when you really lay into her and push your pony to the extreme!

What is the plate with the two holes welded at the bottom of the tube for ? The 1990 mustang I bought has this tube setup but nothing attached to those plates . I believe it may be for an anti sway bar, but I am unsure.
Will they work on a lowered 1990 convertible mustang? Is a daily driver lowered with bbk coils(progressive rate)and kyb adjustable struts and shocks and caster camber plates. Thank you.
will stock rear stabilizer bar work on this set up
What are the replacement bushings for these?
Hello. Will these arms work on the 1994 Mustang Cobra with the IRS I've seen that many others don't fit mine with the independent rear suspension.
I need bushings for these control arms. do you have a part number for the bushings and hardware for a 1998 cobra svt
After installing this kit, without doing any other modifications, what size tires can I fit in the back of my 93 foxbody GT. I'm running 16in rims and the rest of the suspension is stock.
will this kit eliminate wheel hop if the quad shocks are removed? I have an 83 GT with an 89 8.8 rear end and I had to install traction bars to stop the rear end from hopping.
