Product Description

Pair of Billet Aluminum Rear Vertical Links for all 2015, 2016 and 2017 Mustangs.

With any IRS (independent rear suspension) Mustang they are prone to wheel hop on heavy acceleration. So if your 2015-2017 Mustang is experiencing wheel hop it might be time to replace some rear suspension parts. CJ Pony Parts has you covered with some performance rear vertical links. These vertical links are manufactured out of high grade 2024 billet aluminum.

These Vertical Links feature Delrin bushings with stainless steel sleeves and washers. The Delrin Bushings are ideal for Mustang owners that want less deflection when accelerating. With these vertical links being manufactured out of 2024 billet aluminum the tensile strength is 68k psi which is stronger than the original stamped steel vertical links.

- Fits all 2015-2017 Mustangs
- Made From 2024 Billet Aluminum
- Helps Eliminate Wheel Hop
- Better Performance and Handling
- Delrin Bushings
- Stainless Steel Sleeves and Washers
- Increased Strength and Durability

The Stronger vertical links will decrease the amount of flexing on hard launches or going around quick turns. The main job is to eliminate wheel hop but these vertical links will also help out with the performance handling aspect as well. Not only will these links not flex under heavy loads, but they will give you a much better feel In the Independent Rear Suspension.

As part of a complete top to bottom redesign, Ford has designed the new 2015-2017 Mustang to have an independent rear suspension. This is a first for any mass produced Mustang, though an IRS did have a problematic run in the Mustang Cobra nearly 15 years ago. CJ Pony Parts has a large selection of performance suspension parts that will eliminate the problems with the new 2015-2017 Independent Rear Suspension.

Rear Vertical Link Billet Aluminum Pair 2015-2017 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, Easy to Install! After buying a number of chassis and suspension parts I wasn't interested in spend $280+ on vertical links and then ran across these and figured I would give them a go...anything is better than the factory joke ones. Was very easy install if you know to jack up the suspension and install the bottom then the top.

Product Questions

How hard is the installation?

Asked by: ParkerL
Not bad at all, check out the installation video that we have for the Steeda Vertical Links, here: The Installation of these would be no different.

How are these vs the Steeda Vertical Links? 2024 as these are is a stronger alloy than the 6061 Steeda uses, but has less natural corrosion resistance. I live in Florida so I do not have to worry about much salt other than the occasional near beach roads.

Asked by: GrabTheWheel
The 2024 is stronger than 6061 but not by much, 6061 is more corrosion resistant and easier to machine.
