This is the factory banner that comes on the Ralph's Mustang, can be used on any Mustang that's running Ralph's parts as well. This is actually specifically designed for your 2015 through 2016 Mustang and the top cut of the design for your glass. Instructions will be the same if you're running a generic banner, just make sure you have it centered on the window and at the right height when you go to install it.
First step in the process is to thoroughly clean the glass. You don't want to use glass cleaner either. You want to get some isopropyl alcohol, make sure you get a good adhesion once it sticks. Just clean the whole area where the banner's going to go. Now my suggestion for the next step in the process, find someone to give you a hand. While you can do this yourself, an extra set of hands makes it a lot easier. What we're going to do now is lay the windshield banner out. Again, Ralph's makes it a little bit easier by actually cutting it. We're going to put it right up on the edge of the glass. Tight on that side. Make sure it's tight up on the edge or, again, if you're using a normal banner, make sure it's centered. What we want to do is get a piece of tape, once everything's tight, put the piece of tape right here about 3/4 of the way over. Double check everything's good, we're going to start over on that side.
Now what we're going to do is separate the decal from the backing. Start over here on the driver's side and get it over to the tape. Going to cut the backing off. Okay, now we're going to pull this tight, lay it down and then starting in the middle using a squeegee, making it adhere. If you do get any small creases, just work them out. We're going to move our tape, the same thing over here, remove the backing. Then inside out. Once you have it stuck down properly, peel off the backing. Keep the paper at a tight angle when you do this. And your installation's finished.
The Ralph window banner looks great on my 2015 Mustang GT. It's nice and centered, doesn't have any bubbles in it. It looks like it should. Installation should only take around 15 to 20 minutes. You'll be back on the road in no time.
