Scott Drake Autolite Sta-Ful batteries are authentic reproductions of the originals that use the original case, and not just cover molds. These batteries are maintenance free, utilizing the latest AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology so they never require adding acid or water filling. The electrolyte is trapped in the separators so the battery can't leak, even if the case is broken.
They come fully charged and ready for installation. These are not generic batteries inside a case, they are full true AGM batteries. Made in the USA. Group 24.

Great Look
If you are in need a new battery for your classic 1965-71 Mustang, then one of these will add an extra touch to your engine compartment for that original look. The look of the battery is true to the time period. The battery is well designed and is quite heavy, so it’s good it comes with free shipping. It is a bit pricy, but if you save up your CJ Pony Parts RPM points it's a pretty good deal. The description states it comes fully charged, but that’s not quite true. I put a battery tender on mine as soon as it arrived. It has been charging for 12+ hours and has not finished yet. If you store your car over the winter, then you will need to get a battery tender to keep it fully charged. Failure to keep it charge will void the 4 year limited warranty. So, if you want to complete that original look and still have a modern battery, I recommend this product from CJ’s.
