notchy, sticky switch
This switch is hard to turn through the switch positions. It was this way even with no key unit in it. It looked like it was lubed inside but after assembly in my car I took the key part out and lubed it with key lube and it turned better but still notchy so the problem is not my key assy but inside the switch itself.
I never did figure out what the extra terminal was for because it doesn't switch voltage or ground. I did not need it for my 65 mustang but it would have been nice to use it as an ignition switched source. This is the 2nd Scott Drake item I have had recently with problems. They are usually good but not this time.
I will replace this with another one when I get time, it is not worth sending it back.
