Product Description

Scott Drake Curved Black Monte Carlo Bar for 1965-1966 Mustangs.

This bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks.

Copied from the original design, Scott Drake's bars feature a new thicker diameter tube and improved fender brackets. Also features stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower profile carriage bolts.

The curved design allows for extra clearance for an oval air cleaner and taller aftermarket distributors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, installed in less than 45 minutes I installed this on my 64 1/2 Mustang Convertible, looks great and made a difference in the handling. Scott Drake parts are everything they say they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made a difference Noticeable difference in cornering, it did reduce a fair amt of the top end roll, serves it's purpose well and very easy install.

Product Questions

I'm replacing the upper control arms on my 65 mustang and it had several shims on it. If I install this bar, will I still need to shim my upper control arm?
