Product Description

Scott Drake Curved Chrome Monte Carlo Bar for 1965-1966 Mustangs.

This bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks.

Copied from the original design, Scott Drake's bars feature a new thicker diameter tube and improved fender brackets. Also features stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower profile carriage bolts.

The curved design allows for extra clearance for an oval air cleaner and taller aftermarket distributors.

The installation instructional video doesn't address Scott Drake Monte Carlo bars with the Square holes to mount to the top of fender? Carriage bolts with square heads used how big of hole needs to be drilled?

Asked by: peppy
As far as I'm aware, hardware isn't included - so you can get whatever carriage bolts you want (that fit), then drill the holes to match.
