Scott Drake Radiator Hose Pair Late-Model 5.0L Conversion 1965-1969 is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Top hose has wrong angle at radiator. Hose is advertised for a 5.0L engine conversion, but is actually for a older 302 V-Belt drive system. The top hose will not work with a 1990 series 5.0 with Serpentine belt system. After calling your customer support and being treated like an idiot I was told that I had to pay the return shipping cost because I ordered the component on-line. Based on your incorrect advertisement CJ should have at least paid the return cost. I then called Scott Drake customer support and they confirmed my findings with the fitment issue. Bad customer relations for your company.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After a few months these look like ballon animals Had to replace this top hose because, it got so bloated I was worried it was going to burst. The bottom is now looking the same. Not the quality you are looking for in a car that does a few miles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great fit they fit great but the rubber finish is very shiney and slipery had to really tighted the clamps to prevent sliping

Product Questions

I already bought your direct fit Champion radiator for my 1966 coupe but my 1989 5.0L EFI engine's thermostat housing points straight up.  Will your hose work or do I need to convert it to the 45 degree thermostat housing that was originally on the car?

Asked by: MSCo
You can use your 45 degree thermostat housing but you will have to check for clearance with any accessories, if you have to use the 90degree neck these hoses should work #RH50.

I have a 69 Mustang with a Ford Racing 306 in it with driver side hose Edelbrock Hi Flow water pump and a RADA36 aluminum radiator. Will these hoses work?

Asked by: bullbiker
No - they're meant for Fox Body style 5.0L engines with EFI.

I Have a 1966 fastback with 5.0 and an aluminum radiator. Having problems with the hoses, don't know what to get. The outlet of the water pump is 1/34". The radiator and thermostat housing is 1 1/2".

These should be what you need.

Are these for use with a "fox body" style 302 with water pump opening on driver side AND the original 66 mustang radiator w/ opening on bottom passenger side?  Thanks
