Hard to install. easy to break.
The board is very delicate. Got conned into the Scott Drake name. They really need to improve this. I have a 68 mustang fastback. This kit require you to play with the spacing and it is very difficult to space out the spacing so the circuit board do not touch the metal housing. The spacers provided are weak. Moves around too easily. If the board touch the housing the whole thing will get fried and short circuit, I didn't make this up, said so in the warning in the manual and not covered by warranty if that happens. The whole board relies on your light bulb socket to keep it in place, so if the socket gets loose from the bumpy ride and the board touches the metal housing, it's over. Really horrible design. It is like playing the board game "Operation". I wish they would have made a plastic housing to keep this in place or insulated like other kits i have seen online. I bought into the "230 LEDs". I wish i could return it but it is installed already. It is bright alright, if you can keep this thing in place and not get it fried. Looks good now but I keep my fingers crossed. Hope it stays secure.
