Your Mustang's stock suspension does an adequate job in normal, predictable conditions and maneuvers. Where you may run into a problem, is when you need to make a sudden lane change to avoid an accident or when you find that curve in the road is a little sharper than you thought. As your vehicle begins to turn, the body will roll, Inch transferring weight to the outside wheels. This causes the front end to plow Inch, or what is technically known as understeer. The result: Your vehicle wants to keep going straight and you're now out of control.
This 1" Front Sway Bar Kit with Polyurethane Bushings and Grommets will bolt directly in place underneath of your Mustang and reinforce and balance your suspension and give you more control. This quality sway bar is made from high carbon steel and is hardened and stress-relieved with forged & countersunk eyelets to give your suspension superior support during sudden or sharp turns. With the addition of this anti-sway bar, body roll and understeer will be greatly reduced.

This sway bar is a direct replacement for the thin, weaker factory Ford sway bars. This kit includes polyurethane mounting bushings and links with polyurethane grommets. This ensures long life of your bushings and hardware and a sharp suspension performance increase. The included hardware consists of heat treated 5,000 lb. end-link bolts, zinc chromate coated brackets, double beveled polyurethane bushings and plated, cupped washers. the installation actually bends the brackets ever so slightly leaving the bolts at an angle once fully tightened
but this minor difficulty is out weighed in my mind by the feel of the new sway bar compared to the stock 11/16'' mine was equipped with
