Both wiper arms feature a chrome cap and a polished stainless steel body. Notice the chrome quality in the Scott Drake is much better than our standard reproduction. There's plenty of flaws over here as well. Moving inside you can see the spring that holds the wiper arm to the car is much better quality than the standard spring used over here.
This style wiper arm uses a spring in here to put tension to hold the blade against it. You can hear how smooth the spring operates on our Scott Drake versus the reproduction. You can actually even see pieces of metal falling out of this as we move the arm. Here's a close look at the rivets that hold the arm itself to the cap. You can see a huge difference in quality with the Scott Drake rivet versus a very generic poorly installed rivet on the reproduction.
While both wiper arms will get the job done, by looking at the Scott Drake versus our standard you can see they really do put a lot more emphasis on the details to get their product just right.
