This pair includes direct-fit rear seat belts and all necessary hardware for the driver side and passenger side of the rear seat. Please Note: The available belt colors are not factory correct. They are intended to be a close match to your Mustang's interior.

Originally, classic Mustangs came equipped with lap belt style seat belts. While these seat belts offer some protection in a collision, after 40 or more years on the road, they might not be in the best of shape. CJ Pony Parts offers dozens of replacement Mustang seat belts, so you can add some stylish new lap belt style Mustang seat belts or upgrade to a new 3-point style seat belt, similar to what is in all new automobiles.

Product Questions

Hi. Will these work in a 1969 convertible, can they also be used in the back seats and are they DOT approved. I will be using theses in New Zealand, do you know if they are approved by the NZ transport department. Thanks

Asked by: pcb8
They will work in your 1969 convertible and they are DOT approved. The product is only for rear seats. We're unaware of they're approved in New Zealand.

I have a 72 fastback with a seat belt reminder light, are these wired for that application?

Asked by: mike aquilina
The seatbelt reminder light typically is only wired to the front, driver's seat. These are rear seat belts, so that light won't be affected by the change.

Are thes rear belts suitable 1969 Fastback? Is there a complete kit for Front & rear push button Black belts?

Asked by: Richard69
These will work well in your 1969 fastback. We don't offer kits specifically for front and rear combined, but several of the products we offer will work universally (though I think those are more lap belts, not 3-point). For these rear seat belts, SBR7-V is going to be your perfect match for the front.

Do the seat belts have Australian approval. (ADR approved )

Asked by: Bobo
We can't say for sure. They are DOT approved, and the company extensively tests their products to ensure they meet or exceed that standard.
