Product Questions

How difficult is it to replace seat tracks on a 1973 Mustang? Passenger side seat keeps slipping all the way back and will not stay in the forward position.

Asked by: Jerry Stang
There are four nuts that hold the seat to the floor, and four bolts that hold the tracks to the seat, so it is not difficult to change.

I purchased new front seat tracks for my 73 mustang. The old tracks only had the small spring attached from the handle to the track body. The new tracks have two springs; the small spring and a larger one. How is the larger one attached?

Asked by: WhoDat
The small spring attaches to the seat track with the adjuster handle, the larger spring attaches to the seat frame at one end and the other end to the track without the adjuster handle.
