Is this kit specifically the plug and play one like the video, or is it the cut and splice?

Installed the sequential LED taillights, signals worked with the ignition off, did not sequence, bought a Raxiom modified flasher but this did not fix the problem..........all three lights blink at the same time...............
How come on the video they use a harness with the LED , and on pictures of what comes in the kit it doesn't have a harness
I installed a set of sequential led taillights with quick connect. What did I do wrong ? the turn signals work with ignition off and the 4 way flashers work only with ignition on, it's reversed and I can't figure it out

We're going to start by removing this plastic trim panel so we can remove the panel that covers our taillights. Taillight are held in by four nuts. There's going to be one here, here, up top, and the other one's going to be back here behind this plastic bracket. We're going to pull the taillight out. It's not a bad idea to put a blanket or towel of some sort down to protect your paint. We're going to start by removing the outermost plug-in socket. Simply turn, slide it out, remove the bulb.
Now you want to grab the LED assembly that's marked outer. We're going to plug it into the original plug and install it in the housing. Now we're going to remove the middle one and take the bulb out of that, then finally the inner and remove the bulb from that one there.
We'll install our new LED harness and bulbs. You want to make sure when you install these that the bulb labeled "I" is on the inside. You then take this harness and you're going to plug it into the middle light socket. The factory light socket on the innermost inside does not get used. Now you want to install your new flasher. Once we unplug the original, we'll plug the new one in. We'll tie this up out of the way.
Once you've installed the flasher, you'll want to check your lights. In a case like ours, when you only have one bulb on, that means the polarity on the middle plug is reversed and you want to flip it over. Simply pull the plug out, flip it over, plug it back in. Now that the lights are working properly, we're ready to reinstall our taillights and reassemble our trunk.
Now there's some extra sockets in the car. You want to make sure you push them towards the top where there's more room before you try to reinstall. I'll reinstall the retaining nuts. I'll reinstall the trim panel and reinstallation's completed. Not only do we get that classic sequential look, the LED's going to be a lot brighter, making this a safety upgrade as well. The only real tool needed for installation is going to be an 11-millimeter socket. If you choose to remove the rear panel, you'll need a panel removal tool as well. Installation should take you no more than half an hour, so you'll be back on the road in no time.
