Product Description

Ultra Bright Sequential LED Taillight Kit for 1967-1968 Mustangs.

Upgrade the look and brightness of your 1967-1968 Mustang's taillights with this kit featuring 230 total LEDs! Taillights will look up to five times brighter than stock lights. Taillights don't sequence during braking thanks to patented "Smart Signal" technology. White board design creates greater reflectivity and light output that none can match!

Original lenses can be used since these taillights run cooler than the standard incandescent bulbs. Installation is a snap requiring NO additional wires or modifying.

Includes:
-Two taillight modules (115 LEDs per side)
-One flasher module
-Complete illustrated instructions

*Does NOT include taillight bezels, lenses or bodies.

Easy install... Safer now!
Overall extremely happy with this product. The actual install of the LED lights was simple and didn’t require too much time (about 1 hour). My 1967 coupe lights were stock and unmodified, so the connection that goes into the socket where the bulb was didn’t require any spacers (it comes with 2 each light if needed), just the lockwasher and nut. The rest is not the products fault: The install of the new low voltage relay took some time. Somewhere along the line a previous owner decided it would be a great idea to move the turn signal relay behind the dashboard vs the traditional place behind or near the glovebox. It was built in Metuchen Jersey so I am finding a lot of things were different.
I have become an expert at removing the dashboard gauges, but that doesn’t mean I like it… But it wasn’t this products fault… 100% satisfied with the outcome. I have brighter, safer, turn and brake lights now.
Tips: Make sure the new light connectors sits in the light socket well, it can be a challenge to get in (leverage, and I was afraid to push too hard). If you don’t get it seated all the way, the light won’t sequence. Also, if you have never replaced your gaskets (in the housing and thick rubber between housing and light bar) on the tail lights, this would be a good time. Mine were virtually disintegrated when I took the housing apart. Or it would be a good time to replace everything (lenses, light bezels, etc.). My original tooled lenses and housings were in good shape and I did the bezels when I bought it… If I could do it all over I should have bought the kit. I also refinished and painted my housings at this time since there was a little rust showing in the bottom. You are removing them anyways, do it right.
Thanks CJ’s!
