Product Description

2-1/8" Solid Color Shift Knob with Shift Pattern for 2005-2010 5-Speed V6 and GT Mustangs.

Add some custom style to your Mustang's interior with a new shift knob! These knobs are manufactured in America using the finest partek resins available, and are engineered for strength and durability. Available in 11 different colors with the correct, original shift pattern etched on the top of the knob. Pattern is etched in white on dark color knobs and black on light colored knobs.

- 2-1/8" knob diameter
- 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern
- Correct 5-speed shift pattern (reverse to the right and down)

*All knobs are custom made to order and take 3-4 weeks to ship from CJs.
*This knob does not include a jam nut. We highly recommend a jam nut or threaded shift boot retainer to make sure the shift knob is properly aligned when tightened on the shift handle. A shift boot retainer (HW2576 or HW3045) is recommended as it will prevent a gap between the new shift knob and the factory boot.

Shift Knob 2-1/8" Solid Color With Shift Pattern 5-Speed V6/GT 2005-2010 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks and feels great! I bought one of these over a year ago. I have been using it in a non-mustang application, but a shifter is a shifter. The knob looks great and feels perfect. I have the orange, and a word of caution, the orange is a good bit darker than the image. it is more red-orange and not bright orange. Also, DO NOT FORGET THE JAM NUT!! This knob cannot be tightened down without one. If the shifter pushes against the inside of the ball when tightening it, the top will pop off!! ( I ate the cost of a similar one). These are made to order and might take a few weeks, but if you want an eye catching and functional shift knob, it is well worth the wait!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than other options! I replaced the OEM knob (ugly) with a Hurst pistol knob that looked nice, but the hot summers in Florida made it really, really hot, and also made the shifter longer. Then I found this knob! It is made of a sturdy plastic and the size is perfect. I have had it for a few months now and never gets too hot, just slightly warm, and it still looks great!!! Like new!!!

Shift Knob 2-1/8" Solid Color With Shift Pattern 5-Speed V6/GT 2005-2010 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: If you're looking for any easy upgrade for the interior of your Mustang, you can't go wrong with an aftermarket shift knob. Here at CJ's we have a huge selection, including these 2 1/8" diameter USA made knobs, available in 13 colors. With or without stripes, with your choice of graphic, there's over a thousand different options available.

You should have no trouble finding one that looks great in your Mustang.

Installation for the shift knob is very easy. If you're early Mustang you'll have to thread on this jam nut. If you're '05 and up, we carry these retainers that will hold your boot in place once you install the after market knob.

All the knobs are available in solid colors, without any graphics whatsoever. If you chose to go with a graphic, we offer the 5.0, the running horse, the snake, the GT, as well as a Boss 302. If you choose to go with a pattern, stripes are available as well. And if you prefer, you can actually have the graphic added to the side.

In our case, we had this custom one made for our CJ race car with our CJ emblem on the side. We'll be installing this one.

Since quarter mile performance has been the goal with our gotta have it race 2013 GT, we're still running the stock shift knob. We'll remove this one and install our new green knob. Get a good grip on the knob and turn it counter clockwise.

First step for the installation of the new knob is to install its retainer. The retainer's gonna hold the boot in place and also work as a jam nut for the knob. Thread your retainer down until it's touching your shift boot. Grab your shift knob, line up the threads. Start threading it on. Now, if you thread it all the way down, it probably isn't gonna line up straight.

What you'll wanna do then is loosen it up until it's about an eighth of a turn from straight, thread the retainer upward. Get a good grip on it, turn it until it's straight. As you can see our shift knob was a nice additional upgrade to our interior. It only took a few minutes to install. You'll be back on the road in no time.
