12mm-1.75 Shift Knob Jam Nut for all 1983-2004 Mustangs with a Manual Transmission.

With the addition of a new CJ Shift Knob, a jam nut is required for proper installation onto your shift handle. Without a jam nut it is almost impossible for the new shift knob to naturally tighten on the handle and to be properly aligned at the same time.

Features the correct 12mm x 1.75 thread pattern for your 83-04 5-speed Mustang or 03-04 6-speed Cobra.

*CJ Shift Knobs do not include a jam nut.

Please Note: Most late model original style shift knobs did not require a jam nut, therefore this jam nut will most likely need to be acquired for your new CJ Shift Knob.
