Skip Proof Spot Weld Cutter Kit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 16695.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not so skip proof I was hoping this was my answer to cutting spot welds. It really did not work any better than the cheap one I bought years ago. The center drill really does not do any thing better than the center punch on the cheap one does. If you pre drill the center it works. But that kind of defeats the purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cutter I've ever used. This set is far and away the best cutter I've used. The first head went through well over 60 cuts. Did use WD-40 for oil. Am on my second of the three cutters now. The pilot bit works well, in that it does not drill all the way through. This is helpful for welding the new material onto the piece you are trying to save. The key to this cutter is PATIENCE. Let the tool do the work. Don't force it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Skip-proof spot weld cutter I am very pleased with this tool. It takes plenty of patience to use this tool, especially on 65 year old spotwelds. I think you need to add a small brochure on the proper use of this tool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Descent, but not worth what I paid Yes, it will cut spot welds, but good luck getting it to stay in one place. I was adding larger and deeper center punches to the point of bending the flange I was trying to separate. The bit still wandered. Gave up and I`m now drilling a series of pilot holes on every spot. I may have been better off getting a bunch of cheap drill bits and drilling out the weld entirely.
