SPEC Stage 5 Clutch Kit for 2013-2014 Focus STs with SPEC Specific Flywheel.The Stage 5 Clutch Kit utilizes a solid hub like the Stage 4 Clutch Kit but offers the highest possible friction co-efficient. Features an astounding torque capacity of 820. Solid or unsprung hubs don't absorb vibrations and harshness like sprung hubs. Although this clutch can be used on an extreme street car, it is not very street friendly and is best used for drag racing. This non-SAC clutch kit can obtain greater clamping force than the stock dual ass clutch. Once paired with SPEC's lightweight aluminum flywheel, your Focus ST will see quicker revs due to the decrease in rotational mass.
This clutch kit features a non-SAC (Self-Adjusting Clutch) mechanism pressure plate unlike the stock style clutch found on the 2013-2014 Focus STs. Deviating from the original design provides a lighter rotating assembly, higher RPM capability and greater clamp load levels. The kit must be used with SPEC's specific flywheel for this application which features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability. Non-SAC clutch kits offer higher torque capacity than SPEC stock replacement clutch kits of equal level.
Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. This extremely aggressive clutch uses a high clamp pressure plate and solid or unsprung clutch disc. Since there are no springs to absorb vibration, the harshness is absorbed by the drivetrain which is hard on the transmission. The high torque unsprung hub will create clutch chatter and should be used in race applications. The solid 12-rivet hub and assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. A bearing and tool kit is included.

*This clutch kit will NOT work with the stock flywheel. The pressure plate in this clutch kit differs from the original Focus ST clutch design and must be used with SPEC flywheel SF33A4.
