Rated 1 out of 5 by Yourpalal from Speedometer cable We ordered two cables of these speedo cables. One for my 69 Mach1 4spd and one for my buddy's 70 Mach1 4spd. We had the same problem with both cables. They would not clip into the speedo housing. at that point I put my dash back together without it. My buddy used a hose clamp to hold it place. When he was attaching the the other end to the transmission the cable pulled out of the end. The good news is they offered to refund my cost to return them and refund me for the parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Okbicyclr1 from Great Replacement Cable I bought this to replace the original cable in my 69 Mach 1 SCJ. The description says it doesn't fit the cars with the 3.91 or 4.30 rear ends. That is not correct. It will not fit if your car has the speedometer adapter. Some cars in 1969 did not have the adapters so it fit great. The only complaint is that it is missing a sleeve for the clamp to clamp around. This sleeve secures the cable in the correct position. Without it, the cable can slip inside the clamps.
