Product Questions

Do these have a habit of failing? Bought one earlier this year and it's been lightly used. Worked last friday, came back from vacation this past weekend and the bendix isn't engaging. She just spins.

Since it only has a pore connection what causes the solenoid to engage the Bendix??

Asked by: DaisyC
The solenoid is activated by the wire from the ignition switch.

I recently replaced my starter in my 1965 200 cu in 6 cylinder automatic trans.   It dosent work right , as it makes noise and dosent disengage from the gear ring.   Did I get the wrong starter?  I understand there are two that are very similar.

Asked by: kc48
This would NOT be what you want. You'd want STR3118 for your Mustang.
