Steeda ProFlow Cold Air Intake Kit for 2011-2014 Mustang GTs and 2012-2013 Boss 302 Mustangs with a Manual Transmission.
This high-performance cold air intake effectively opens up the intake system of Ford's new five-liter power plant and allows it to breath much more freely than the stock intake system allows, taking your 2011-2013 5.0L Mustang to the next level of performance.
To ensure the densest air charge possible, Steeda retained the factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper and sealed the black heat shield to the hood to prevent any hot air from being sucked in from around the engine compartment. Other manufacturers have chosen to ignore the factory cold air ducting which is key to keeping the lowest air charge temperatures possible.
Also, a billet aluminum velocity stack and high flow air filter ensure a clean, cool, streamlined air charge straight to the engine. The new high-flow "ProFlow" intake tube provides the necessary ports to retain the factory noise tube and PCV tubes. Steeda increased the MAF housing size to 101mm and coupled it to a new higher flowing Pro-Flow inlet hose with our Cool-Tube Technology.

Great product that needs a Tuner (hense the 4 start rating)!
Great product, looks fantastic the welds are very nice indeed. The down side is you need a tuner, I believe it stated "recommended" in the ads for it, but I got a lean code a few thousand miles down the road and bought a tuner and took care of that, I noted the new "tuner required" notes next to the ads now. So I love it with a tuner and wouldn't go back!
The best CAI for the 2011+ Mustangs
This Cold Air Intake is amazingly well-constructed, fits right where the stock airbox goes, and has amazing performance. I went from 368hp/355tq to 411hp/386tq with a simple tune. The sound of whooshing air when you tap the throttle is sublime, it really adds an aggressive note to the intake. IT DOES REQUIRE A TUNE, but any CAI that doesn't won't really give you a performance increase. Bang-for-the-buck, this CAI + SCT X3 tuner is the cheapest 40+ hp gain you'll ever see.
