Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great springs Lowered the car and it handles great. I had the performance pack on my car and this stiffens it up way more so there's no rolling motion in the turns

Product Questions

Would the 1.1" drop be be same for the V6 or is that drop for the GT?

Asked by: Andylifts
The v6 will be slightly higher in the front due to the lighter engine.

what is the main difference in everyday ride performance between the linear and progressive springs? is it necessary or recommended to get an alignment after installing?

Asked by: ADL15
I would suggest reading this, http://www.hypercoils.com/mph/tech-tips/linear-vs-progressive-rate-suspension-springs/ . Any time you lower a cars suspension you should have it checked.

I've noticed the Eibach kits include a new bump stop. Is one necessary and included in the Steeda kit or is this kit designed to work with the stock ones?

Asked by: CoyoteVince
A new bump stop is not necessary and they are not included with the Steeda springs.

What is the biggest wideat size 20 inch tire I can get with these springs. I plan on getting the camber caster toe fixed so I know my wheels won't tuck in as easily

Asked by: Chris ruby red stang
The widest we would ever recommend up front would be a 20x10" wheel +40mm offset with a 275/35-20 tire. In the rear, we have tested a 20x10.5" wheel +45mm offset with a 295/35-20 tire.

Are there alignment specs for this, along with the IRS subframe bushing kit installed?

Asked by: cofc03
Alignment specifications should be provided by a alignment shop.

Steeda Lowering Spring Sport Progressive Set V6/GT 2015-2017 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We’re here with Steeda's Progressive Rate Lowering Springs fitting all 2015 and 2016 GT and V6 Mustangs.

These Steeda Progressive Rate Lowering Springs are going to lower the front of your 2015 through 2016 V6 or GT 1.125 inches and will lower the rear 1 inch. The progressive rate's going to improve performance while also keeping very good ride quality. You'll see less brake dive, better handling, and a much better performance in the corners.

These Steeda Progressive Rate Springs are direct replacements for the factory springs on your 2015 through 2016 Mustang and work with either stock or aftermarket shocks and struts.
