Great Strut Brace
After installing a new FRPP Intake Manifold on my 2010 GT I was told my existing SR strut brace would work. However, I tried re-installing my existing strut brace and it was too low and rocked on top of the manifold. I decided to shop around and discovered that the Boss 302 strut brace was the one that would clear the top of the manifold. I decided to go with CJ Pony as they absolutely had the best price and blew the competition away. The Boss 302 brace fit perfectly and looks and works great. Thanks CJ Pony, y'all rock!

Fit vs. Finish
Aesthetically, a great looking addition under the hood. I can't yet speak to functionality as I've just installed the tower brace. Price was outstanding as compared to all other vendors. My only concern, perhaps, is only limited to the one I received, was that bolt placement on the pre-drilled mount holes was not 100% spot-on (almost a 1/8 placement difference on the passenger side tower). This was installed on a brand new 2014 V6 Mustang, so unless the vehicle itself is a little off, I'm guessing that this new tower cross bar could possibly be a factory 2nd. If so, I don't believe functionality has been compromised once tightened in place. No blemishes whatsoever otherwise found. I gave it only one less star due to factory pre-drilling on the bar's own mounting brackets. It shouldn't stop anyone from purchasing the product, as price, appearance and expected function is well worth the cost savings realized. A+ - 1* is still outstanding to me.

Great Price!
After searching around for many weeks, I came across CJ's deal. Wow, what a deal it was! It was 80 to a 100 bucks less than most other places. Excellent deal CJ and way to to go! It looks great and stiffened up the front end taking away much of the annoying slop after hitting pot holes or going over railroad tracks. Also put the front end together and in sync allowing for better cornering and overall handling!

Be careful tighting up the bolts!
This tightens up the front end when cornering hard and looks great under the hood. The only problem I have with this is that there is nothing stressing the importance of tightening the bolts only until snug. I used a torque wrench to 26 lb/ft as instructed in the CJ video and one of my strut tower bolts broke. It may have just been a dud of a bolt but was still very annoying to have that happen in an otherwise simple installation.

Excellent
This item was exactly what I expected, took about 5 minutes to install.
I have had positive comments from other mustang owners.

Impressed
Just installed the brace on my 2014 V6 Pony - Look's great and made of very good quality.
Was quite impressed with the delivery and price. Would definitely recommend this product.
Made a difference in handling.

fits like it should, for a good price
It's a strut bar. It fits perfectly. Not sure about how much of a "handling gain" I saw, but it can't hurt for the price, right?

Great product for price
I bought this for my 2012 v6 premium Mustang. Very happy with quality of product. Looks great under hood, tightens up front end. I only wish it was stamped FORD in the center of brace. I would definitely recommend this product .

Looks amazing. Cornering is a way better now. You can feel the difference immediately. Unbeatable price.

By Bill Tumas: When upgrading the suspension on their Mustangs, many people overlook chassis stiffening. You can buy the best suspension components money can buy, but if the chassis flexible, they're just not going to get the job done. One of the easiest ways to tighten up your chassis is with the use of a strut tower brace. Today we're going to install this Boss 302 strut tower brace from Ford Racing on a 2013 Gotta Have It Race car. The strut tower brace is going to install to your factory bolt on the top of your strut tower. Features a silver powder coated finish which will be nice and durable, and will fit both Mustang GT and V6. For this installation you're going to need a 3/8 ratchet, 3/8 torque wrench and a 13-mm socket.

Installation of the strut tower brace will be very easy. Simply remove the nuts on the inside of the strut mounts on both sides. Once we remove all four nuts, were going to put the strut tower brace into place. Notice an arrow pointing forward, you want to make sure that faces the front of the car when you install the brace. We're going to place it over the four studs from our stud mounts and reinstall the nuts. Just get them snug, because we are going to torque them down. Now were going to torque all the nuts to 26 ft. /lbs.

The strut tower brace is going to fit all 2010 and up GT's and the V6's. If you have a 20 and up 5 L and upgrading the Boss 302 intake, you want to make sure you get this brace as well, because your factory one is not going to clear. Installation is only going to take you a few minutes; you'll be back on the road in no time.
