Billet Strut Tower Cap Cover Kit for all 2005-2014 Mustangs.

This 10 piece billet kit covers the top of both struts and the nuts surrounding them on both sides. Made from 6061 Billet Aluminum and precision made for a snug fit. Installs in minutes.

Tech Tip: In 2010 Ford started putting strut tower braces on from the factory. The strut tower braces attach to the car using the 2 inner studs on the strut mounts. To make sure that the inner studs still had enough thread engagement for the strut mount nuts when combined with a strut tower brace Ford started using taller studs. The taller studs will not allow the nut covers to thread down low enough on the studs to sit flush, they will leave a 1/8" gap to the top of the shock tower.

The larger center strut covers in HW2148 are made to thread onto the top of the strut. The struts on 2014 Mustangs however, do not stick up through the top of the shock tower, which means HW2148 cannot thread onto the strut to stay in place. When the center cap cannot be threaded onto the strut, its best to use a dap of silicone to attach the strut cap to the stock tower. The silicone will hold the cap in place but will still allow the cap to be pulled off to access the top of the struts.
