Yes it would just have to buy a pig tail  wire harness that they sell ,thats it.. I've done it and got rid of those ugly ones

The black plastic grained part on the area by the trunk lid looks like it is shiny black plastic---my OEM part is a low gloss black grained plastic in this area....does this exactly match the OEM part for color, grain and gloss???

It's a close match to the photo. That being said, yours may have faded significantly in nearly 20 years, since this is an OEM reproduction.
