If the temperature gauge in your 1965-1995 Mustang doesn't seem to be working quite like it should, it's more than likely a faulty water temperature sending unit. This new Ford Water Temperature Sending Unit is a direct-fit replacement for your damaged or missing unit and will provide proper readings to your temperature gauge once again.
This brass water temperature sending unit threads into the intake manifold and sends the information to the temperature gauge in the interior of your Mustang. Without a properly working temperature gauge, you run the risk of overheating the engine which could break the bank.

Recently bought a temp sending unit for a 1966 Mustang with a gauge and installed it. The gauge did not function. I grounded the sending unit connector and the gauge pegged to hot indicating the gauge and wiring is operational. Any suggestions?
