If you are using the TPMS sensors from the original wheels there shouldn't be any need to recalibrate the sensors to the car.

If I mount wheels and tires from a 2015 Mustang on a 2007 Mustang will the 2015 TPMS be compatible? If the warning light comes on I assume I can reset the TPMS with this tool or will I have to replace the TPMS with a TPMS from 2007?

Asked by: martont
The TPMS will NOT be compatible. This tool will not help you. You will need the correct TPMS for 2007-2014 Mustangs.

I have a 07 mustang V6 pony. 20" Foose rims that were on when purchased. Put new tires on and tire guy said it read the TPS but he couldn't get it to program. Will any sensor programming tool work to program the TPS. it has the valve stem TPS.

Asked by: OLIOACEZ
That all depends on the brand and frequency of the TPMS used. This reprogramming tool is known to work with all of the sensors that we currently offer on our website.

I have a 2007 Shelby, wheels have been changed to 20". There is no sensor inside (should be). I need buy the sensors and this tool but dealer sais this tool will not work because wheels and tire size is different as original, is this true?

Asked by: Diego82
the tool and matching sensors will work without any issues with your car.  before buying anything you will want to make sure the wheels you have support a tpms sensor and what style sensor it will use.  some wheels will need the older band style sensors. but once you have the correct parts you should have no problems programming the new sensors with this tool. however, they may be showing concern with the speedometer, if the diameter is larger than the stock wheels this could be the issue they are talking about.
