Product Description

TMI Vinyl One-Piece Molded Headliner Kit for all 1965-1966 Fastback Mustangs.

If your Mustang’s interior is in need of some love and attention, the headliner is just as important as the seat upholstery and original headliners still in good condition are hard to find anywhere. Now you can replace that original, damaged or missing headliner and upgrade to TMI’s Vinyl One-Piece Molded Headliner Kit for all 1965-1966 Fastback Mustangs!

Installing a replacement headliner can be quite taxing. It requires a good amount of deconstruction and a time consuming installation and reassembly of a large portion of your Mustang's interior. TMI's all new molded headliner is designed to fit directly into your 1965-1966 Fastback Mustang without any adhesives or hardware. This TMI Vinyl One-Piece Molded Headliner Kit for all 1965-1966 Fastback Mustangs is contoured to the interior so there is no longer a need to remove window glass, like the installation of the original headliner required. Installation should now only take a few hours, as the headliner is securely fastened with the existing trim pieces and windlace already in your Mustang. The new headliner also adds more than 1 inch of headroom, due to a better, tight fit and the removal of the bows and brackets that held the previous headliner in.

Kit Includes:
- Vinyl Covered One-Piece Molded Headliner
- Available in a Variety of Factory Correct Colors
- Pair of Vinyl Covered Molded A-Pillar Panels

TMI's seamless One-Piece Molded Headliners are contoured snugly to the interior roofline and feature a Sierra Grain Vinyl that has an infused under side layer of high density foam for a factory appearance and finish. This layer of foam helps the vinyl to lay smoothly over natural irregularities and creates the clean, professional look you love. Without this foam cushion, the original style vinyl alone would show every lump and imperfection.

So if you are looking to replace the headliner in your 1965-1966 Fastback Mustang and you want to do it with some modern style and updated materials, TMI has you covered with these Vinyl One-Piece Molded Headliner Kits. TMI's seamless One-Piece Molded Headliners are closely contoured to the interior roofline and are beautifully covered in high-quality Sierra Grain Vinyl! This installation will help give your Mustang a more updated and fresh look, while managing to feel like the original materials are still there.

*White is not bright white, it is an egg shell off-white color like original.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to install Second headliner I got, still doesn't fit, cut to shorts in spots and windlass won't go or stay on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from watch the video several times So I purchased this for my 1965 coupe and expected it to go in just as easy as the video looked at first. lets say there are some important notes; first off the things fits exactly in the right spot and it is not a tight fit, what that means for you is that you need to leave your screws loose in front and use a little petroleum jelly along the edge of the rubber you are tucking it into so that you can shift the whole things back and forth a few centimeters until you get it in the right spot. secondly the sail panels that are included are only designed to fit in a specific angle you need to pay close attention to the overlaps so that you get it all lined up right. third and most important you need to be using a NEW windlace, the reason is that the windlace has a metal trim in it that works like a vice to hold it in place and this will need to be opened all the way up with a screw driver to get it over this thick headliner, once it is over it you will need to close it back up with a set of pliers squeezing it closed along the way. I would recommend this but only to people with good spacial reasoning, it looks great once it is in and adds extra headroom (a big plus when you are 6 foot) but it is not nearly as easy as it seems. it is pretty expensive for all the extra work you have to do to get it to fit.
