Product Description

Pair of Total Control Products Adjustable Strut Rods with Pivot Joints for all 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

If you're rebuilding the suspension system on your classic 1968-1973 Mustang, consider upgrading your factory strut rods to these premium Adjustable Strut Rods with Pivot Joints TCP STRD-07-SVH by Total Control Products, now available from CJ Pony Parts!

Strut rods are used to limit the fore and aft movements of the lower control arm, and to help fine tune the amount of caster in your pony's alignment. Total Control Products has designed these adjustable strut rods using modern materials and manufacturing techniques to offer predictable handling and adjustability, improved serviceability and easy installation. TCP was able to update these strut rods to include their billet concentric pivot assembly--the first of its kind on the market!

Pre-loaded Derlin bushings are uniquely mounted to move the pivot point to a better location on the strut, which increases the effective length of the lower arm assembly and improves the axis angle. The overall result of this update is reduced caster change during braking and cornering, leaving your pony with overall better handling and improved driving comfort.

Tech Tip: These strut rods can be used with both the factory OEM control arms or with Total Control Products premium lower control arms.

Total Control Products offers reliable, long lasting performance pieces for classic Mustangs, and this pair of adjustable strut rods is no different. TCP manufactures these rods in-hose using state-of-the-art CNC multi-axis mills, sheet metal lasers and robotic spray arc welders. TCP knows that these improved adjustable strut rods will make driving your vintage pony even better, and you'll spend less time installing them than any other rods available in today's market. Pick up a pair for your Mustang from CJ's today!

Please Note: This pair of strut rods arrives with one driver side and one passenger side assembly. Will only fit 1968-1973 model year Mustangs.
