Pair of Total Control Products 4-Leaf 1-1/2" Lowering Reverse Eye Leaf Springs for 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.Fix your sagging rear and bouncy ride with upgraded leaf springs from Total Control Products. TCP leaf springs are manufactured from the finest alloy steel and offer the best quality on the market. This pair of leaf springs features a four leaf count which produces a ride slightly firmer than stock Mustang GT leaf springs. Leaf count determines ride quality and performance level. A 4-leaf count is the correct choice for mostly street driven Mustangs. The 4-leaf count has a 165 pound per inch spring rate.
- Reverse eye configuration
- Lowers your Mustang approximately 1-1/2 inch
- 165 lb/in spring rate
- Polyurethane front eye bushings
Reverse eye leaf springs coil the spring eyes in the opposite direction of a standard leaf spring. Mounting bolts are below the spring-stack centerline resulting in a ride height approximately 1-1/2" below the stock ride height. Reverse eye leaf springs allow you to achieve an ultra-low stance and a lower center of gravity for improved handling.
Front eye bushings are included and made from a polyurethane material. This material has a significantly higher durometer making it more difficult to compress which results in reduced deflection and better handling.
Total Control Products' 4-leaf reverse eye leaf springs are great for replacing and upgrading your worn out leaf springs. Fix your Mustang's long lost stance while increasing performance. The reverse eye configuration provides a 1-1/2" drop but TCP offers 4-1/2 and 5-leaf configurations for increased spring rate and performance. For those looking for a less intense ride height, TCP offers their mid-eye leaf springs which offer a 1" drop and the same handling performance.
