OE Style 80/20 Molded Trunk Carpet for 1965-1966 Mustang Coupes.Modernize your early model Mustang with this molded trunk carpet kit. Covers the entire trunk floor surface, the wheelhouses and even includes a matching tire cover. Side panels feature stiff fiberboard backing for a perfect fit.
Made from 80% Raylon/20% Nylon carpet just like the original fabric used in early model Mustangs. Matches OEM interior colors to give you a complete and finished look.

Well, I added this Trunk Carpet Kit in addition to Dyna Mat and Sound Deadner to a 1965 Coupe. It fit much better after I let it lay in the sun for a few hours (became alot more flexable). I probably used more 3M contact cement then needed but the end result is very nice and does make a big difference. Took a better part of a day to get installed.
Fit well but the glue failed on some of the vertical pieces. I called CJ Pony; they contacted the manufacture and replaced the entire product. Great customer service and the carpet still looks great.
This kit fits very poorly in the area around the wheel wells and the trap door. A better design would be to separate the wheel well carpet from the floor carpet, make that one pice into three pieces and let the customer velcro the wheel well carpet into place or elect not to use it at all. Other than the wheel wells the other pieces fit well and look nice. I would not spend the money on this kit again, instead I would buy just the one piece floor Carpet
