Product Description

Trunk Weatherstrip for all 1969-1970 Fastback Mustangs.

If your 1969-1970 Mustang Fastback just got a fresh paint job, or if you've noticed the weatherstrip around the trunk is starting to crack or is missing, then it's time to order some new Trunk Weatherstrip from CJ Pony Parts!

This Trunk Weatherstrip is an original-style replacement that seals the trunk lid when it's closed. This will help keep water out of your trunk compartment where it could possibly damage your Mustang's trunk carpet or even the items you're hauling in there. This weatherstrip is made of sturdy rubber, and you'll get enough for your entire trunk. Make sure that you also get the right 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (CJ Pony Parts # AD3M) so you can properly install your new weatherstrip!

If you jump into your Mustang and notice wet floor or upholstery, it might be time to check out your Mustang Weatherstrip, to see if it is cracking or missing and needing immediate replacement. For many Mustangs, CJ Pony Parts has any piece of individual weatherstrip you need, plus full weatherstrip kits, so you can completely replace every piece, keeping water outside where it belongs.

Order this new Trunk Weatherstrip for 1969-1970 Fastback Mustang today from CJ Pony Parts!

Trunk Weatherstrip Fastback 1969-1970 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit, better than the one I removed. This fit great and installed easily with some 3M black weather strip adhesive. Install while lid was off, made it much easier to hold the piece in place. Recommend having a second set of hands to hold while you install around the trunk lid.

Product Questions

I purchased the fastback weatherstripping from you guys a while ago (about 2 years) and need to know what side (Narrow/Wide) sucures to to the bottom of the decklid. It would seem to me the wide side, but picture here might suggest the narrow side.

Asked by: 69GT
The narrow side installs to the trunk lid. This allows the void in the wider end to take up the lip on the trunk opening when closing.
