Product Description

Rear Outside Snap Driveshaft Universal Joint for 1965-1978 Mustangs.

This driveshaft u-joint is a direct replacement for your original and includes a grease fitting for servicing and snap rings.

U-joint Size/Dimensions:
- Cup diameter: 2-1/16" and 2-1/8"
- Outside with locks: 3-7/32"

The u-joint is a service replacement part that is commonly overlooked and is a critical piece to replace during service on your rear axle. It is a cross shaped connector that has to endure changes in speed and torque during driving. A warn u-joint can lead to bigger problem in the rear axle if not taken care of properly.

Replacement U-Joint for the following rear applications:
- 1965-1967 200 with automatic transmission
- 1965-1966 260/289
- 1967 289
- 1968-1969 200 4 speed manual transmission or automatic transmission
- 1968-1969 250/289/302/351
- 1970-1973 with 3 1/2' Yoke Out
- 1974-1978 all

No, it won't work on a 3-speed six cylinder from that year.
