Under Dash Wiring Harness 1966 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 18570.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a glove! The 66 mustang wiring harness was a perfect fit. All connectors fit existing wiring. The quality was excellent and the installation was fairly easy. The gauge lighting sockets were not nearly as tight as the originals, but still stayed in position. In fact, the led lights went in much, much easier in the new wiring harness. It did not come with any installation instructions, but with the existing wiring it was easy to figure out. I would have appreciated a wiring schematic. Overall, I was very pleased with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid harness with OEM colors and connectors Installed just like OEM. As previously reviewed the instrument sockets aren't as tight in the dash holes but do hold the bulbs more secure. Can't give it 5 stars because the headlight plug was wired 180 out. Couldn't figure out why I had power to the headlight switch but no brake lights, parking or head lights. Once I went on line and found the right match it only took 5 minutes to pop the 8 wires out and relocate.

Hi I need to completely rewire my 66 fastback gt . It is a code A 289 v8. Could you tell me which wiring looms I need and also which alternator would be best?. Many Thanks. Tony Camilleri

I would recommend checking out P/N: WH6466, here: http://www.cjponyparts.com/painless-performance-complete-chassis-wiring-harness-14-circuit-1965-1966/p/WH6466/ And any of these options will work great for a alternator. It all depends on your needs and current setup, here: http://www.cjponyparts.com/mustang-parts/c/60000000/?product_type=36&brand_name=855

Does this harness include the original "pink wire" or resistor wire? I'm sure most people want it to be as original as possible, but man is that thing annoying.
