Product Description

Mach 1 Interior Upholstery for all 1970 Fastback Mustangs.

If you are replacing your current 1970 Mach 1 fastback Mustang upholstery or are thinking of upgrading your 1970 fastback Mustang's standard or deluxe interior, this gorgeous Mach 1 interior upholstery is sure to please. These 1970 fastback Mach 1 upholstery sets are factory style replacements that will give your Mustang's interior a fresh and younger look.

Full sets include upholstery pieces for both front bucket seats and the rear bench seat. Front buckets include driver side and passenger side seat upholstery only.

The Mach 1 upholstery is available in factory correct color options. Colors are listed in the drop-down menu by main color, then the stripe color.

Don't forget to replace your seat foam to really make your seats feel like new! Seat foam is sold separately.

*Full upholstery sets will not fit 1970 coupe and convertible Mustang interior.
*Front buckets can be used in 1970 coupe and convertible Mustangs, but Mach 1 seat foam must be used (SF34).

Please Note: When purchasing front bucket seat upholstery only, keep in mind new upholstery sets might not be an exact color match to your original rear seat, due to fading or rear sets from other manufacturers. We always recommend purchasing a full set of upholstery and replacing the front and rear seats together.

Check out this helpful tech article from CJ Pony Parts on how to re-upholster your seats.

After so many years of being sat on, the upholstery in your classic Mustang, especially if it's still the original upholstery, probably looks pretty bad. However, you can replace your battered, old Mustang upholstery by selecting new upholstery from CJ Pony Parts. With a huge variety of choices for all 1964-1973 Mustangs, CJ Pony Parts is sure you will be able to find exactly what you want, so your Mustang can look like new again.

Upholstery Mach 1 Interior Fastback 1970 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Look exactly like the originals (I purchased a ginger set). Fit was perfect. I replaced foams as well (which you should if replacing these). Had a professional install and he said they were a perfect match and fit. He told me that this is unusual as many reproductions fit poorly. Not the case here.

Will 1972 high back seats accept 1970 Mach1 upholstery if the proper seat foam is used?

Asked by: Dmc1970
You'd need to swap out the seat frames as well. The 1970 seat frames are going to be different than the 1972 seat frames, so your 1970 Mach 1 seat foam most likely won't fit on the 1972 seat frame. We do offer the proper 1970 frames, so you could swap them in.
