Vent Window Frame Passenger Side 1965-1966 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice chrome but had a fitment issue I bought this item a few months ago and am just getting around to restoring the door window parts. Original Vent glass fit very well into new frame with new weatherstripping. The only problem I have had is the single screw hole that holds the division bar to the vent window frame was filled in with metal/chrome. I had to drill out the chrome in an attempt to install the screw. Not sure if it will hold or if I will need to use a small sheet metal screw to keep it secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Chrome! I bought this since I was in a hurry & in need of a better frame. I was very pleased when I unwrapped it,, it's a very nice looking part. I'm in year 6 of my restoration & this this is the kind of quality I was hoping for and perfect for completing the vent window portion of our restoration. (Bottom one in pic)

Product Questions

What do I use for the weatherstrip that seals the glass to this piece?

Asked by: momsmustang1
You can use 3m window weld 08609, a fast drying urethane. Use enough that it pushes out between the glass and frame than when it is fully cured simply trim off the excess.
