Vortech 20th Anniversary Edition Supercharger Tuner Kit in Black for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Mustang GTs.

To commemorate Vortech's 20 years of producing the highest quality and most reliable supercharging systems in the industry, they are celebrating with the release of a limited run of 100 "Anniversary Edition" Series Supercharging Systems.

These systems will be truly unique with a gorgeous stealthy black finish on the supercharger, ducting and intercoolers, and will also feature a special numbered Anniversary serial tag on the supercharger. By Bill Tumas: We’re here with an update on our project 50-30. We’re two months away from SEMA. This will probably be one of the last updates where we can show you the entire car. We have a lot of manufacturer’s on board with this build, and we want to give you brand new products at the SEMA Show that aren’t available to the public, so we can’t show them to you until the car is debuted. Guarantee though, we will be there at the SEMA Show and we’re going to give you a full overview of this car, top to bottom, sitting on the floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center. For now we’ll give you a couple updates on what we’ve been doing.

For our first update we’ll go under the hood, and if you’ve been following the build you know we were talking about reusing Ford Racing’s Coyote Crate engine to power our car. Four hundred twelve horsepower would have been great, but if you remember I said we were going to make it a little be more than that with Project 50-30. Additional power is going to come from a Vortex supercharger. We’re using their block series V3 supercharger to reliably push our car over 600 horsepower. This will work great with the stock motor and the factory computer we’re using.

We also recently installed the front windshield and the rear glass. We’re using one of our glass kits which is available for all ’64-’73 Mustangs, including all the glass necessary for the restoration. They’re available in clear or the tinted smoke glass shown here. If you go with the smoked, only the very top edge of your windshield is going to be smoked. The rest will be clear. We think the tinted glass is going to give our Mustang a really nice custom look with our black roof.

While not necessarily exciting to look at, our last update is going to be the wiring harness. With a custom build like this, having a good harness is going to be very important to make everything operate properly. We’ve chosen to go with Painless Performance Products complete chassis harness, fitting your ’64-’66 Mustang. Two additional models are also available fitting ’67-’68 as well as ’69-’70. The Painless will update 50-30 to modern wiring, giving us plenty of extra circuits to hook up with our control pack as well as all the extra power options we’re adding to our build.
