Wilwood includes a pair of Drilled and Slotted 2-Piece Rotors that are 12.19" in diameter and feature a particularly engineered directional drilled and slotted vented rotor pattern. This pattern improves the response of the brakes and brake pad performance throughout the full range of light-to-heavy braking. The venting and cleaning of the holes and slots will shrink pad glaze along with releasing gasses and heat that is generated during heavy or light braking. The holes and slots of the rotors also prevent irregular pad compound build-up that allows a smoother braking engagement and upgraded pedal response in any driving situation. Each rotor is finished with a black e-coat finish that protects rust from occurring.

*Kits requires the purchase of additional brake lines.

The 2-piece 12.19" rotors are incorporated with hats that are specially made from premium aluminum alloys for quality strength and attention to minimized weight. These hats have threaded rotor mount holes and produce consistently reliable outcomes even in the most difficult circumstances. The hats also come with a black e-coat finish to help fight against rust and corrosion build up.

Purchase your Wilwood 12.19" Dynapro 6-Piston Front Disc Brake Kit for 1965-1966 Mustangs with V8 Spindles and all 1967, 1968 and 1969 Mustangs from CJ Pony Parts.

Wilwood Front Disc Brake Kit Dynapro 6-Piston 12.19" V8 Spindles 1965-1966/1967-1969 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best. I bought these for my 1967 mustang. These were actually pretty easy to install, and the kit includes a bracket that fits for either upgrading from disks, or converting from drum brakes. I was able to install these brakes completely from home without any modification at all, I did not have to drill anything or cut anything, these are as they say, Direct bolt on. Even with the stock master cylinder (power brakes) these brakes feel super good. I remember at the time wondering if I had to upgrade master cylinders at the same time, but I kept the stock one I had, and it still feels like a massive upgrade. My mustang stops better than any other car I've driven. And don't misunderstand, it's not like these slam your face into the dash. These brakes feel like you have full control, and they are just the right pressure that you want to feel when you have your foot on the brake pedal. My old brakes, discs up front, drums in the rear were needing to upgrade, there were a few moments when I had to really slam my foot down to stop when I needed to, but with these wilwood brakes, I've never felt even for a second that they wouldn't stop when I needed them to. My mustang is wearing some 17" torq thrust ll wheels by american racing, and these brakes clear everything no problem. These 6 piston calipers look amazing and look just the right size, I love how they just wrap around the rotor, I even bought a rear disc brake conversion from wilwood and made sure they upgraded my order to get these same calipers in the rear. I didn't want some little baby looking brakes in the rear of this car, this car looks like a beast with the same calipers on the rear. One thing to note, is that these brakes do slightly change the width of how your tires set. these brakes make your tire stick out 1/16 inch on both sides, with a total of 1/8 inch wider stance, which shouldn't be a problem for most, but take this into consideration when purchasing. The only negative about these brakes is that they will make you drool all over yourself because of how beautiful they are. Consider buying a baby bib to catch the drool. These are a little pricey but they are very well worth it, when I do future disc brake upgrade or disc brake conversions, I will buy wilwood every time, the quality is just way up there, the ease of installation was very nice. And the design these have is just amazing. They made these were you can change the brake pads in like 5 minutes, and you don't even have to take the caliper off, you don't even have to loosen any bolts.

Product Questions

'66 Mustang V8 with drum brakes. 15" American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels. I will convert to power brakes with a dual master cylinder too. Will this kit work OK or should I get the similar Wilwood 11" rotor kit? Thanks.
