Rated 1 out of 5 by 65GT350 from Not much of a pump For a UK buyer this becomes a very expensive pump, especially when one finds that, as a pump, it is pretty pathetic. If originality is important to you then try and find another brand, if it is not just buy a modern pump for much better performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CANADA8 from Easy as 1,2,3. Exact match of 3 screw holes, same exact form factor, hose sizes, and electrical connection. No more windshield washer fluid leaking on the garage floor!

My 1966 has this item, which obviously includes the holes, grommets, etc. I want to have my '66 all original. Is the 1965 common in the 1966 models?.
If you have one speed wipers this would be the correct pump, for two speed wipers use this pump, http://www.cjponyparts.com/windshield-washer-pump-2-speed-2-bolt-1965-1966/p/WWP2/

Why isn't there a total windshield washer kit for a1965 mustang as my car has nothing at all. I think it is crazy having to buy all the bits & pieces separately.
Every car had slightly different options. You had options on the pump, bag, motor, switch, etc. A full kit for every option would add up quickly. It is easier to locate the parts your specific car has than sort through a bunch of different kits. If you need assistance we can help you through chat or you can give us a call, and we will gladly locate everything you need for your car.

I bought one, but the 3 amp fuse blows after 2 seconds of operation. How much should the fuse protection be?
I didn't have that problem, works fine - but will check on the installed fuse.

Wondering if the special mounting screws are available?
Looks like they can be found here; http://www.cjponyparts.com/windshield-washer-pump-screw-3-for-mounting-1965-1966/p/HW429/ I don't recall what mine actually looked like, you could probably use a stainless Phillips pan head though.
