Product Description

2-Speed 2-Bolt Windshield Washer Pump for 1965-1966 Mustangs.

After decades of wear, tear and exposure to the elements, the original windshield washer pump in your 1965-1966 Mustang is more than likely on its last leg. Complete your restoration with this new reproduction windshield washer pump for your 1965-1966 Mustang from CJ Pony Parts!

This direct replacement reproduction windshield washer pump will replace your stock 2-speed pump or can even be used as an upgrade for a 1965 1-Speed washer pump. It’s made to work exactly like, if not better, than the original washer pump. This pump is used to push washer fluid from the reservoir, through the lines, to the windshield to ensure you have a clean windshield in the harshest of weather conditions.

The safety and full function of a windshield washer pump is important, even on classic Mustangs. Even if your pony is a garage queen, you never know when you may run into a stray rain shower.

CJ Pony Parts offers all kinds of windshield wiper components for your 1965-1966 Mustang. Whether its wiper arms, a reservoir or the lines themselves, we’ve got it all!

Windshield Washer Pump 2-Speed 2-Bolt 1965-1966 is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak in More Than One Way As another reviewer noted, the holes on the item I received were about an 1/8th of an inch too far apart. I decided to use a rubber mallet to *lightly* tap on one tab with the other tab sitting on concrete to bend the two ends closer together. After the third tap, the spot welds holding the bracket to the pump body broke loose. Looking at the welds, they were all weak with two being barely visible at all. After addressing those issues (JB Weld) and installing the pump along with new hoses, I was very disappointed to find the washer fluid just barely squirted out onto the driver's side and dribbles out of the passenger side (doesn't even make it to the windshield.) The nozzles are not blocked. It's just a very weak "pump". Not sure how that compares to OE because I just got this car, but surely OE could at least get the fluid to the windshield on both sides. :/

Rated 3 out of 5 by from At least it looks nice. Had to fight the bracket during installation. The holes were not even close. It looks nice, but for the price it should have been made in the U.S.A or at least lined up correctly.

I have a one speed motor. How can I wire up the two speed pump to a one speed motor?

Asked by: sflip09
You have to find which wire will power the pump so it pumps in the correct direction and ground the other wire.

Which side is up? does it matter how the two wires are hooked up? Re: windshield washer pump for '66 Comet two spd pump.

Asked by: oldfred
The end opposite the wires goes up.  (Wires on bottom.)  The wires can be hooked up either way.

Hi ! I have a mustang 65 with 2 speed wipers. My windshield washer pump does not look to work . Actually , the installed pump is a one wire , so probably a one speed. What is the issue to replace it by a one speed . I am expecting that it already worked
