Windshield Weatherstrip 1965-1968 is rated 3.3333333333333335 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok but there's better. I've bought two of these and they're ok but I bought a Scott Drake version for the third car and would recommend spending the couple extra dollars for it. First one: Hard to get over the glass, tore it in two places installing, and extremely stiff. Second one: let it sit in the hot sun for about an hour before trying to mount it and the stiffness subsided some but still a pain to install on the glass. Being more careful than the first it installed smoothly and looks great. Overall: Not a bad product but the Scott Drake version is just a lot easier to install overall. Used the string method on all windows, caulking strips, and of course sealant. No leaks on any.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CJ Pony is the Best I am very pleased with all the business transactions I had with CJ Pony and their highly professional staff and sales associates. To date I've already ordered over $800 in parts with more to come as I continue the work on my restoration.. Keep up the great work, Gary Higgins

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time and money on this seal This is the worse seal to try and install a windshield. It is stiff and cuts too easy trying to rope the window in.

Windshield Weatherstrip 1965-1968 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We're here with a replacement windshield weather strip, fitting all 1964 through 1968 Mustangs. This heavy duty weather strip will fit Coupes, convertibles and Fastbacks. It's designed to be installed on the glass itself, before the glass is installed in the vehicle.

When ordering windshield weather stripping, you want to make sure you have at least 18 feet of a nice nylon string, the window wield caulk (two tubes are recommended), as well as a strip caulk for proper installation. Start by installing the weather stripping on the glass, which will go in this channel right here. This is a pressure fit channel, so there is no sealant necessary. Just put the glass right in. Once you have the glass installed in there, you want to open up this rear channel back here. In this channel, you want to put the strip caulk in and then the string and that's how you're going to install it on your vehicle.

Once it's installed in the car, you use the window wield tube to go around the whole outside to seal it properly. Our windshield weather stripping is sold separately. It's also available in our complete Mustang weather strip kits.
