Mustang Superchargers At CJ Pony Parts
Completely replacing your Mustang’s engine is a huge task, and it may not necessarily be the only way to achieve maximum performance gains in a cost-effective way. Installing a supercharger or nitrous oxide kit can be an affordable way to drastically improve the performance of your vehicle’s engine and throttle response. It also allows for more fuel and air to enter the cylinders where the combustion reactions occur. There are a couple of differences, however, between nitrous oxide kits and superchargers. You’ll want to take them into account when you’re choosing between one and the other. Let’s take a closer look now at whether a 1995 Mustang supercharger or nitrous oxide kit is right for you.

1995 Supercharger Kits

Opting for a Supercharger

Both superchargers and nitrous oxide kits are a super-fast way of vastly improving the performance of your 1995 Mustang. However, depending on your tolerance to various technical risks, you may want to consider one over the other.

A supercharger forces extremely compressed air directly into your vehicle’s engine, at which point the highly combustible mixture of fuel and compressed air causes an enormous — but controlled — explosion in the cylinders of your engine. The primary advantage of using a supercharger is that it can force more air into your Mustang’s engine due to the compression processes it undergoes prior to injection into intake manifolds.

A nitrous oxide kit, on the other hand, takes a different approach to improving your engine’s performance. By injecting liquid nitrous oxide — known as “nitro” in slang terms — into your engine, the charge temperature in the cylinders decreases, allowing for additional fuel and air to enter the cylinder and combust. The result? Massive power increases due to the even larger explosions this technique generates. Be careful, though — if installed or used improperly, nitrous oxide kits can cause damage to your vehicle. We advise proceeding with caution.

Regardless of the choice you make, you’ll be in good hands at CJ Pony Parts. We’re always going the extra mile in supplying only the best-quality superchargers and nitrous oxide kits on the market.
