Typically what happens is that the two plastic pieces that are glued together will come undone or wear out completely, breaking along that seam. ACCELATEC has listened to the community and created this 6061T6 Billet Aluminum Constructed piece as a solution. With a quick and easy installation using the provided hardware, you’ll replace all the plastic components in your factory shift boot and maintain a factory-like appearance with the powder-coated black finish.

*This adapter is designed to work with the factory shift knob or any aftermarket shift knob that is designed to be used with the reverse lock-out mechanism. It will ONLY work with aftermarket shifters that retain the reverse lock-out mechanism.
*This shift knob adapter is also compatible with HW3290 and HW3291 for 2015-2022 Mustang owners. 

Tech Tip: This Billet Reverse Lock Out Adapter will require you to disassemble your factory shift boot. Installation is made easy with the included zip tie that will connect your factory shift boot to your new Billet Reverse Lock Out Adapter.
