This Differential Cover is constructed from durable cast aluminum with a wrinkle-black powder-coated finish. Its construction includes machined fins and reinforced ribs for increased strength. It is made with dual neodymium magnetic plugs to protect its gears while its large oil-level sight glass allows you to monitor the oil level. It also has a calibration plug that is set to the factory level, easily eliminating overfilling. The included oil allows this Differential Cover (46-71290B) to at least meet API GL-5 performance requirements that are recommended for limited and open slip applications. It offers increased capacity over your stock differential cover, a deep-reach fill plug that catches loose particles, and internal and external fins that are built-in to transfer heat away from the oil.
