This cat-back exhaust system is constructed out of 2-1/2" mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing. The smooth curves and increased diameter of this exhaust system help remove restriction and keep exhaust gasses flowing smoothly for increased horsepower, torque and throttle response.

The MACH Force-Xp comes complete with a 14" long high-flow straight through designed muffler to absorb high pitch tones, which produces a powerful sound while eliminating exhaust drone. The 409 stainless steel performance muffler is designed to provide a deep, throaty and powerful sound while accelerating and a smooth sound while idling.

The muffler is located prior to the rear axle for increased climbing angles. This exhaust system is finished off with a hi-tuck tip designed to give your Jeep extra clearance during extreme angle climbs or descents.

An included extension pipe allows this system to fit both the 2 and 4-door Wranglers without modification. OE-style bayonet hangers are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE style fit. All necessary hardware is included for a hassle-free installation. This unit fits with most aftermarket Evap skid plates.

The factory exhaust on the JK Wrangler is big, ugly, and restrictive, and it's time for it to go. Today, we're going to help our Jeep breathe better, and sound better, and even give it some better off-road clearance by installing this aFe cat-back exhaust. This aFe cat-back exhaust is made of 2-1/2" mandrel bent stainless steel tubing. It comes with a high-flow muffler that gets relocated to the front for better off-road clearance, and extension pipe for the 2-door and 4-door. It has a hi-tuck turndown tailpipe for better off-road clearance. It comes with everything you need for an easy installation so today we're going to install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Tools you'll need for this installation, 1/2" ratchet, 15mm socket, 16mm socket, 18mm socket, and you'll probably need an exhaust hanger removal tool. This cat-back exhaust is pretty simple to install. We have to start off by removing the factory system which is pretty easy. Just remove this clamp right here on the muffler, then remove the muffler from the two hangers. Loosen the clamp with a 15mm socket. Remove the driver side hanger from the muffler. Then remove the rubber hanger from the frame mount. With both hangers removed, just twist the muffler and pull it off. Come up to the front of the exhaust now where the front pipe meets the Y-pipe, and remove the clamp.

Now, if you have some miles on your Jeep, this clamp might be pretty hard to remove so you might want to use some penetrating lubricant. Remove the rubber hanger from the front pipe, then there's one more hanger to remove. Then remove this rubber hanger near the axle. Lower this skid plate by removing the rear two bolts and then loosening the front two. Then come back to the back of the exhaust and twist it to pull it off the front pipe. Bring the exhaust back, bring it around the skid plate, and then bring it forward to remove it. With the factory exhaust out of the way, we're going to install a clamp over the Y-pipe. Then if you have the 4-door Jeep like we do, you're going to install this front extension pipe. If you have the 2-door, just simply don't install it.

aFe provides a hanger that we have to install. We're going to install it right up here on this crossmember. Put the plate with the nuts on top of the crossmember. Put your bolts through the hanger bracket, and install it just like this. Then tighten down the bolts with a 16mm socket. Install the rubber hanger that would be used up front onto the hanger that you just installed. Install a clamp on the extension pipe, then install the muffler. Place a clamp on the muffler, then install the over axle pipe. Then get it into the hanger. Finally, install the tailpipe section into the last hanger. Then you can go back and tighten all the clamps. Tighten the front clamp, then work your way back. Finally, reinstall the skid plate then your installation's finished.

Let's hear it. Our aFe cat-back exhaust is installed. It's tucked up nice and high for better clearance. It sounds pretty good, too, and installation's real easy. It's only going to take about an hour. Before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
